- December 3, 2025: Dorcus Digital held a Anniversary Clip Contest in which the best clips within TC2's history were ranked, with the top 10 winners getting rewards. The submission date for the contest ended on December 10, 2025 with results being revealed on the second episode of Dorcast podcast on December 14, 2025.
- June 16, 2025: Now former developer OutIaw_Nova announces his departure from Dorcus Digital, which, according to him, was "because I'm pretty dissatisfied with certain conditions". Further explained later to be a dissatisfaction on how he was treated on the team and the lack of coordination between developers
- December 22, 2024: MidnightKrystal has announced that the The New WINTER update will be delayed to an unknown date in 2025. This is due to the update still being unfinished and not complete as a production-ready update. More cosmetics are planned, along with some of those new cosmetics being free as an apology letter from MidnightKrystal.
- November 30, 2024: Typical Colors 2 announces to be a partner on TFConnect 2024, with Solid JJ, berd, and Yahiamice playing Typical Colors 2. MidnightKrystal will also be appearing as a guest. To learn more, go to TFConnect 2024.
- July 13, 2024: MidnightKrystal has taken a one week break from the Dorcus Digital to consider if she should quit working on Typical Colors 2.
- July 12, 2024: Typical Colors 2 announces a their second collaboration with Mann Magazine's SWISHCAST podcast, with ExecutiveKrab and MidnightKrystal appearing as guests. To learn more, go to SWISHCAST Collaborations.
- April 11, 2024: The group has officially been rebranded to "Dorcus Digital". Moving away from their placeholder name, "Downy Press".

- January 26, 2024: Typical Colors 2 has been updated to support custom bosses in community servers.
- January 10, 2024: It is announced that Typical Colors 2 is departing from ROLVe, but a few pieces of ROLVe-related content will remain in the game.
- January 7, 2024: Main developer DukeAunarky has officially departed from ROLVe due to personal reasons.
- November 13, 2023: The TC2 Build Suite plugin has been updated to Version 8 to support Payload.
- October 28, 2023: Ax1sAng1e is announced to be a new developer.
