The Time Capsule is a special crate-styled item that was obtainable from two measures in the Battle Pass. It appears as a white heavy-duty capsule with side mounted buttons.
The Time Capsule can reward a Unusual or Strange-quality variant of a cosmetic that was added prior to A "Heavy" Update, at the same rates as it would in a standard crate.

July 14, 2022
- The Time Capsule no longer grants duplicates of cosmetics the user already owns, unless they already have all of it's contents.
October 1, 2022
- The Time Capsule is no longer obtainable, however players who started the individual pass before are still able to obtain it. (Undocumented)
July 14, 2023 (The Update with Patches And Content)
- The Time Capsule is now completely unobtainable. (Undocumented)
Trivia
- Prior to the August 1, 2023 patch, the Time Capsule was the first and only crate not to give out duplicate cosmetics if the user had already owned all of its contents.
- There is a duplicate of the Time Capsule's inventory stats that can be found in the game's files that suggest that it would have returned in the Kringle's Annual New Year Expansion update.
