The Objector Contest was an event hosted by Aunarky on June 22, 2022. It encouraged users to draw fan art for the then-upcoming Objector melee so the developers could use them as built-in decals.

Guidelines and Deadline

Users needed to have the Fan-Art role on the official Typical Colors 2 Discord. There were some additional rules artists needed to be aware of:

• The image resolution had to be 420x420.
• Can be related to Typical Colors 2; prominently characters, logos and jokes.
• Can be a render, but it needs to be good quality.
• Can only be a digital drawing.
• Don't trace other art, only take inspiration.

Once you finished the art after following all guidelines, you had to submit it to the temporary #objector-submission channel in order to apply.

Although there wasn't a deadline clarified in the announcement, the contest lasted for 3 days.

Prizes

Prizes were announced simultaneously to be in-game Funds. The top three winners received 7500 funds, while runners-up got 1000 funds.

• A Fittanium-variation of the Objector was originally one of the prizes for three winners, but it was removed immediately due to issues.
• The winners and runners-up did not get their funds until July 25, 2022.
